Matt Griffiths

Matt’s lifelong passion for boating has shaped both his personal and professional life. From an early age, he spent time on the water sailing and boating with family and friends—an experience that laid the foundation for a career in the marine industry.

In 1999, he began his professional journey in the marine industry with Dave Warren Yachts, completing his traineeship while also working aboard commercial fishing vessels.

Matt went on to build and operate a highly successful car and marine business for 24 years, setting himself apart through exceptional customer service and a commitment to long-term client relationships. This experience has given him a strong foundation in sales, client care, and industry knowledge.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys quality time with his wife and son, whether boating on their 38-foot motor cruiser or heading off on hiking and camping adventures.

Now part of the d’Albora Yacht Brokers team, Matt combines his marine expertise with a friendly, down-to-earth approach to assist clients in buying and selling vessels. Based at Nelson Bay, he services the wider Port Stephens region and is always available for personalised advice and support.
