Adam Hickey

With over 17 years in the marine industry and more than 45,000 nautical miles under his belt, Adam brings deep operational and sales knowledge to every listing. He began his career as superyacht crew in Europe, completing Atlantic crossings and major regattas, before moving on to captain high-end private yachts across the Pacific.

A qualified AMSA Master 5 and Yachtmaster Ocean Sail, Adam has also managed new builds and refits in both Europe and Australia, and previously ran his own yacht management business. His brokerage clients benefit from his practical know-how, global network, and passion for delivering a seamless ownership experience.

Adam is based at d’Albora The Spit in Mosman, where his local knowledge and professional approach has earned him the trust of clients throughout Sydney and beyond. When he’s not selling boats, Adam is sailing them—most recently completing in the past 4 Sydney to Hobart Yacht races and preparing for 2025. He lives on the NSW Central Coast with his wife and two kids.
